Muscat: Thursday, August 25 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Embassy of Japan His Excellency Jota Yamamoto had an official visit to the forthcoming quaternary hospital Aster Royal Hospital in Ghubra, Muscat.
Aster Royal Hospital, the newest super specialty hospital in Al Ghubra, hosted His Excellency Jota Yamamoto, the Japanese Ambassador to Oman for an official visit to the facilities as part of his Zuwarat Aster program. During the tour led by Hospital CEO Dr. Ashendu Pandey and Chief Operating Officer Dr. Shinoop Raj with Director of Human Resources Mrs. Nadiya Azghar Al Balushi, Her Excellency recognized information about all departments, advanced technology and unique services that the The hospital will provide to the community of Oman. The Aster Royal Hospital will have a center of excellence for gastroenterology, urology, orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Interventional Radiology and Stroke Unit in addition to other super specialties equipped with all the latest equipment and services. The hospital will include state-of-the-art operating theaters and a cardiac catheterization laboratory. It is a purpose built hospital that adheres to global healthcare standards and has an expert group led by Omani consultants and rightly so supported by an international panel of physicians. Compared to other hospitals, this hospital is a quantum leap forward in the quality of health care. Aster Royal Hospital will be the largest private hospital in the Sultanate of Oman with 200 hospital beds. The Aster Royal Hospital will be open to the public from September 1, 2022.
