Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov gave an interview to mainstream Turkish media as part of his working visit to Turkey on August 9, Azernews reports, according to the ministry.
In the interview with TRT World, as well as journalists from Hurriyet, Anadolu Agency, Haber Global and Daily Sabah, Bayramov spoke about Azerbaijan’s efforts to ensure peace and security in the region after the 1944 war. days.
He answered questions about the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace talks under the auspices of the European Union, Armenia’s latest provocations against Azerbaijan, Armenia’s violation of trilateral declarations and non-compliance with its obligations, the Turkey-Armenia normalization process, the measures on the Zangazur Corridor, as well as related to the Shusha declaration and the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in London by a radical religious group.
The Minister briefed media representatives on the high level of Azerbaijan’s relations with Turkey and many areas of cooperation, views and measures of Azerbaijan to ensure peace, security and development in the region, efforts to restore and rebuild the country, the restoration of transportation and communication lines, and the threat of landmines in liberated lands.
According to the ministry, Bayramov also touched on other areas of common interest during the interview.
