Mzi ‘Zee’ Dempers Presents Season 7 of Mediterranean Below Deck

Do you have any future goals? Are you looking to become a captain or do you have something else in mind?

Being 100% qualified to be a boatswain is something that is in the works. I have a few projects at home that I’m trying to work on. I don’t want to say anything until they actually start, but yeah, there are a few things I’ve been working on while I’m back home too, which is exciting.

Could you see yourself captain one day?

Small steps while waiting. I try to imagine things or put things into a five-year plan, and in five years I don’t know if I’ll be qualified to be a captain. I focus on what is right in those five years – maybe the chief officer, maybe the second officer. I don’t know if I’ll be qualified enough in terms of the qualifications I need to be an 80-meter captain. Maybe in two years I could be captain of a 30m, potentially, but for the size the show is about, I’m not too sure yet.

Maybe one day.

Yes, maybe one day. It’s definitely there, but we just have to see where the ocean takes us.

Anything else you would like viewers to know about the new season?

I feel like last season was pretty wholesome and this season will definitely be a bit spicier. A little spicier, lots of different personalities which added to the joy of the season – very funny, very dramatic and all around a lot of fun at the end.

We have a lot to look forward to.

Yeah, most definitely. Lots to look forward to.
