MOSCOW, November 6. / TASS /. The Russian Emergency Ministry has disinfected 4,100 social facilities with a total area of ââ14.2 million square meters as part of efforts to combat the coronavirus pandemic, a ministry spokesperson told TASS on Saturday.

According to the ministry, disinfection work is also continuing in parks and children’s play areas.
“Staff of the Russian Emergency Ministry recently disinfected Moscow stations Kievsky, Savelovsky, Leningradsky, Belorussky and Kazansky,” the spokesperson noted, adding that other stations in the city would be disinfected in the near future.
The Emergency Department is continuously carrying out large-scale operations to disinfect social and transportation facilities across the country amid the pandemic. The ministry said earlier that 7,500 medical establishments and 8,000 educational establishments had been disinfected in Russia since April 2020.
