Senior officials from the US Embassy yesterday paid a courtesy visit to Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho at the Fijian Police Headquarters in Nasinu.

They were U.S. Embassy Regional Security Officer Special Agent Samuel J McRae, Defense Attaché, Commander Victor Lange and outgoing Special Agent Anthony Bogden of the DSS Foreign Criminal Investigation Division. Brigadier General Qiliho expressed his gratitude to the US government for its partnership in building the capabilities and capabilities of the force through various forms of assistance.

He said they hope to keep Fiji and the region safe and secure. U.S. Embassy officials hailed Fiji’s reputation as the region’s security leader.

They planned to work closely with its regional partners for better interoperability in order to be able to provide specific assistance programs, and pledged to work with the Fijian Police Force to be able to provide multilateral assistance programs. integrated with the common goal of achieving a greater sense of security. in light of the growing sophistication of the police and criminal landscape.
